CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
Please send nominations for PAM Chair-Elect and Secretary to Alice Primack, Box 117011, University of Florida, Gainesville, FL 32611.
The Chair-Elect serves for 3 years.
June 1997-June 1998 as Chair-Elect,
June 1998-June 1999 as Chair, and
June 1999-June 2000 as Past Chair.
This position is expected to attend both mid-winter and annual conferences.
The Secretary serves for 2 years, June 1997-June 1999.
This position is expected to attend the annual conferences
The slate of the Nominating Committee will be announced in the February PAM Bulletin.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Volunteers Needed!! The Committee is in the process of creating a survey to examine the professional development needs of the PAM membership. In addition to the chair, we currently have one other member on the Committee, Mei Ling Lo (Rutgers). We need two to three volunteers to handle:
In terms of a time-line, we would like to have the survey out by December 13, with results published by the February 1997 PAM Bulletin. We expect to conduct most of our committee work via email.
