Updated 15 December 2011On March 29-31, 2012, there will be a conference on the occasion of Charles Taylor's 80th birthday, celebrating and engaging with his career as a scholar, a public intellectual, and a political actor. The conference will examine Taylor's work and ideas across fields of inquiry, including agency, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, Hegel, political theory, modernity, Canada, and secularism and religion.
The conference will be held at the Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal.
