| Akio Mori: (Ph.D., University of Nagasaki, Japan) Research Associate Professor, 1997-present; Akio and I have worked together at various times for many years. He contributes to and coordinates many of the projects in my lab, but has the most interest in studying various phenotypes in Culex pipiens including the genetics of diapause determination and autogeny. He also has several ongoing comparative linkage mapping projects. | |
| Susanta Behura: (B.Sc., Utkal University, India; M.Sc., Guru Nanak Dev University, India; Ph.D. Utkal University, India) Research Assistant Professor, 2007-present; Susanta is working our investigations of dengue susceptibility in Aedes aegypti. | |

| Irene Kasumba: (B.S., University of Eastern Africa, Baraton, Kenya; M.S., London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine) 2004-present; Irene is working on the quantitative genetics of dengue virus transmission in Aedes aegypti. | |
| Ryan Hemme: (B.A., Luther College, Iowa; M.P.H., University of Minnesota) 2004-present; Ryan is working on the population genetics of dengue virus transmission among Aedes aegypti populations in Trinidad. | |
| Dongyoung Shin: (B.S., Agricultural Biology, M.S., Applied Entomology, Korea University, Seoul, Korea) 2005-present; Dongyoung is working on the molecular genetics of endogenous meiotic drive in Aedes aegypti. | |
| Sarah Epstein: (B.S., Biology and Biotechnology, B.S., Spanish, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA) 2006-present; Sarah is working on the molecular biology of dengue virus interaction with Aedes aegypti. | |
| Technicians |
|---|
| Becky deBruyn: (B.A., Lycoming College) 1999-present; Becky makes sure everything works great in the lab and is a key member of our efforts to characterize our Aedes aegypti BAC library and physical mapping of QTL that determine vector competence. | |
| Diane Lovin: (B.S., M.S., Notre Dame) 1999-present; Diane also makes my lab run smoothly and works on a variety of projects including our efforts to develop PCR-based genetic markers for Aedes aegypti. | |
| Brent Harker: (B.S., Biology, University of Tennessee, Chattanooga) 2004-present; Brent works part-time in my lab. He is responsible for all technical aspects of our microarray studies, including preparation of printed slides, hybridizations, and data analysis. | |
