Topics covered:	the wireless channel and its impact on higher layers wireless ad hoc networks: challenges, models, and protocols quality of service, channel access, and routing in wireless networks wireless network technology and standards emerging technologies (such as W-CDMA, ultra-wideband, smart antennas, virtual antenna arrays)
Projects:	Presentations and one research project. Topics will depend on the students' interests.
