Julie Maund is a sophomore from LaJolla, California. She is a graduate of LaJolla H.S. She started 23 of 25 games her freshman year with the Irish. She is not a fancy but an effective midfielder who combinded with Cindy Daws and other midfielders gives the Irish one of the top crews in the nation. She quietly replaced Ragen Coyne and put together a strong freshman year. She scored her first goal in the Irish's 5-0 win over #6 Duke. She dished out three assists in the Irish's 7-0 win over Wright State. She was a MCC All-Newcomer choice and All-Tournament choice.
