Monica Gerardo is a Freshman from Simi Valley California. She is a very talented offensive player and is impacting the Irish up front as an attacking forward. Monica has been impressive so far this season. In her first 5 games
she scored a total of 10 goals and had 3 assists. She set the a Notre Dame record when she scored 4 goals against Indiana. She is expected to continue to impact the Irish scoring ability.
Monica was a four-year letter winner at Simi Valley H.S. Monica was four-time...all-Marmonte League first team selection and a California Interscholastic Federation all-state choice. In her senior year Monica was named her state's top offensive player. She was Parade All-American as well as the Los Angeles Times soccer player of the year.
Monica is a member of the 1994 Under-18 National Champion Fountain Valley Spirit. She is also a member of the Under-20 U.S. National Team Pool in 1993, 1994 and 1995.
