Signing up for the Wednesday Lunch Fast means that you will have 13 dining hall meals a week instead of 14. All you have to do is not go to the dining hall on Wednesdays from 11 am to 2 pm- there's no time commitment! The dining halls save money when they make less food on Wednesdays and give this amount to the World Hunger Coalition. We then pass this money on to both local charities that depend on the money, like St. Vincent de Paul and the Food Bank of Northern Indiana, as well as larger organizations like Oxfam International.
