GOVERNANCE
The Club is managed under the direction of the Board of
Directors, who must be Regular members of the club. Seven Regular members,
who are elected at the Annual Meeting from a slate of nominees presented
by the Nominating Committee, serve on the Board of Directors. A member
of the Board of Directors serves for three years and may be reelected to
additional terms. The terms of the board members are staggered to provide
for continuity of governance. The Officers of the Club are elected by the
Board of Directors from their own ranks. These officers are Chair, Vice
Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. The other three board members serve as
House, Membership, and Social Chairs. There are several Standing Committees
established to carry out the business and affairs of the Club. These Standing
Committees are: Executive, Finance, House, Nominating, Membership, and
Social. Members of the Standing Committees can come from any category of
membership. A genuine interest in assisting with the Club's functions is
the primary requisite.
