Stinson Remick Hall Project Location: The building is located between McKenna Hall and the Hesburgh Center for International Studies.
This is the first project designed for the University that is seeking LEED Certification. The building is three stories above grade with a full basement totaling 163,500 square feet. Also contained in the building is a 9,000 square foot clean room. The primary functions of the building will be to provide spaces for undergraduate teaching in the Learning Center and also graduate and post doctorate research in various centers and labs.
Project Status: Work continues to progress with efforts focusing on completion of the building foundation. Other activities include the start of work on the concrete superstructure. The superstructure is anticipated to be complete by mid fall. The building is scheduled for completion by winter semester of 2010.
