Melissa Cook Softball Stadium

Project Location:

This facility will be located near and anchor the southeast corner of the Athletic Quad. The project location is bounded by Twyckenham Drive to the east and Edison Road to the south.

Project Description:

This project includes a new stadium building and playing field. The new stadium will contain the home team lounge, locker room, coaches' locker room, and team training room. There will be concessions, visitor's locker room, umpires' locker room, and press box. The stadium will have 650 permanent seats with provisions for event specific fan capacity of up to 1500.

Project Status:

The project was dedicated on April 12th and the women's softball team finished their 2008 season in their new home.
