Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center

Project Location:

The Purcell Pavilion is a 47,000 gross square foot addition to the south dome of the JACC which houses the basketball arena.


Project Description:

Included in this addition is a new major entry for the arena, a new varsity shop, new ticketing operations, new concessions, and a new third floor club for hospitality. In addition to the new construction, many public areas within the existing basketball arena will receive new finishes and all of the existing seating will be removed and replaced which includes replacement of the bleachers with new chair back seating.

 

Project Status:

Steel erection is nearly complete and the exterior walls are beginning framing. The mechanical and electrical systems are underway and concrete floors are being placed.  Immediately following commencement, seating replacement and finish upgrades in the existing arena will begin.

Construction Begins on Harper Hall

Harper Hall is a new facility being built for cancer research.  The University of Notre Dame and Indiana University School of Medicine have combined financial and construction administration resources to design and build this addition to Raclin Carmichael Hall at the south edge of the Notre Dame Campus.  The new 72,000 gross square foot facility will provide cancer research lab space, histology lab, tissue culture labs, microscopy lab, cold room, warm rooms, research faculty offices, graduate student offices, conference/meeting room spaces, a multi-purpose room, and a shelled basement for future research growth, including space for an NMR device.
