For many residents, one of the greatest attractions of Village life is the full schedule of events and activities held throughout the year. Several times each month, residents get together for a wide variety of activities, some educational, some aimed at community service, and many just for fun.

Due to the support of the University, as well as the Village's own fundraising at our annual concession stand, almost all Village events are free for residents. Once in a while we ask for residents' support, but even on these few occasions the cost is almost never more than a few dollars.

Some common events are Parents' Night Out (with free babysitting!), our opening year picnic, string quartet performances for children, the annual Christmas party, and occasional trips to nearby attractions (blueberry picking is always a popular summer trip).
