Student papers from previous BIOS 569/35502-01 sessions

Final research papers are now available from past participants. These papers are meant to provide general information on past work at UNDERC. However, because none of these reports are published in peer-reviewed journals, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of any data collected. If errors are obvious, they have been noted. All are in .pdf format.

Below we provide links to a list of all projects completed during the summer course. The full paper can be opened and/or downloaded by clicking on the author's name.

Note: in the "early years" of the program, BIOS 569 was a four-week aquatic ecology course. It later extended to 8-10 weeks (Practicum in Aquatic Biology), and remained completely aquatic-based until 2002. The current course, now BIOS 35502, Sec. 01, is a 10-week terrestrial AND aquatic course, Practicum in Field Environmental Biology.
