Community Service

Numerous chances exist throughout the year to be involved in serving the community through the ROTC branches. The events listed on this page are outside of the Commander's Cup competition, but still provide valuable opportunities for cadets and midshipmen to help out in the greater South Bend area. Refer to the individual programs' websites or call for additional information.

• The Early Childhood Development Center , which helps ND and SMC parents needs help supervising their parking lot on football Saturdays.  (They sell parking spaces as a fundraiser).  The specific times are as follows:
  3 NOV: 0900-1130 and 1130-1430
  17 NOV: 0630-0900, 0900-1130, and 1130-1430
  If people want to sign up for partial shifts, that would be fine too.

• Little Flower church operates a food pantry called Northern Indiana Food Bank. They have requested two people to help the pantry for an hour with loading/unloading on Mondays 1300 @ {{Library Circle}} and 1030 and 1500 @ {{Main Circle}} and two people on to help out in the pantry itself.  Thursdays, many people have class which prevents them from working the whole shift, but if they want to help out for part of the time they can.
