Access
The Mathematics Library has purchased access to the web version of the Transactions of the AMS. It is available to any computer having the University of Notre Dame Internet address, (i.e. 129.74.*.* or nd.edu).

Description
The AMS provides a full-text web version to the Transactions of the AMS. The web version is available from January 1996 (vol 348, no 1) to the present.

The Transactions of the AMS, published since 1900, is devoted entirely to research in pure and applied mathematics and, in general, includes longer papers than those in the Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society. There are 12 issues per year.

Software
Any graphics capable web browser such as Netscape 2.0 + or Explorer 3.0. Both browsers are free to individuals working at educational institutions.

Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer's hard disk allows you to read the articles. The Acrobat software is free.
