The Show 2008 Bands
Good Charlotte
Good Charlotte formed in 1996 in Waldorf, Maryland, when teenage twin brothers Benji and Joel Madden were joined by Paul Thomas and Billy Martin. The band’s success began when their single “Little Things” reached #23 on the U.S. Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart in 2001. One year later, the group exploded into mainstream popularity with the major success of their triple-platinum album "The Young and the Hopeless," which featured the hit “Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous.” The single “I Don’t Wanna Be In Love (Dance Floor Anthem)” off their most recent album, "Good Morning Revival," is a current radio hit.
The band has performed on successful tours with other big names like MXPX, New Found Glory, Simple Plan, Relient K, and Justin Timberlake. Before arriving at Notre Dame, Good Charlotte will perform on The Soundtrack of Your Summer Tour with popular pop-rock bands The Maine, Metro Station, and Boys Like Girls.

The Cool Kids
Antoine “Mikey Rocks” Reed and Evan “Chuck Inglish” Ingersoll met in 2005 and began releasing tracks on their Myspace. Six million hits later, The Cool Kids’ smooth, 80s hip-hop style has made them a favorite at festivals such as Pitchfork Music Festival, South by Southwest, and Lollapalooza. Reed and Ingersoll have played for the Darfur Now Tour, and, most recently, the Rock the Bells Tour alongside A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, and Mos Def. The duo signed with Chocolate Industries and released "The Bake Sale EP" in May of this year.
The Cool Kids have collaborated with renowned rapper Lil Wayne, and their music has been featured in the video games NBA Live 08 and MLB 2K8, as well as on HBO’s television series Entourage. Rolling Stone Magazine even listed them as one of their "Top 10 Artists to Watch in 2008." They are currently working on a full-length album, titled "When Fish Ride Bicycles."
