The Show 2008 Bands
Good Charlotte is best known for early punk chart-toppers like “Little Things” and recent pop hits, such as “I Don’t Wanna Be In Love (Dance Floor Anthem).” The band has performed on successful tours with other big names like MXPX, New Found Glory, Simple Plan, Relient K, and Justin Timberlake. Several of their singles have landed top-20 spots on the Billboard charts, and their second album "The Young and the Hopeless" went triple platinum.
The Cool Kids’ smooth, 80s hip-hop style has earned them six million Myspace hits, and made them a recent favorite at festivals such as Pitchfork Music Festival and Lollapalooza. Interactive Director of Spin Peter Gaston says that The Cool Kids were a popular name at South by Southwest this year, noting that “everywhere they played became the hot ticket for that hour.” Rolling Stone Magazine listed them as one of their "Top 10 Artists to Watch in 2008."
