Teamwork for Tomorrow of Notre Dame is a community empowerment and outreach organization committed to brightening the futures of children through alternative educational programming in the areas of literacy, athletics, and mentoring in South Bend, Indiana. Teamwork for Tomorrow of Notre Dame operates two independent sites. Teamwork for Tomorrow volunteers work four hours per week at either St. Casimir, which operates every Monday and Wednesday, or St. Patrick, which operates every Tuesday and Thursday. During these two hour sessions, a Notre Dame student is paired with a child between the ages of 5 and 12. Volunteers spend one hour engaged in literary activities with their children, including reading, writing, and flashcard review. The entire program then unites to eat a snack and participate in gym time for the remaining hour. While at Teamwork, our volunteers and our child participants are expected to adhere to the Teamwork Creed.
