The Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation is the national sponsor of Teachers As Scholars, with programs existing at 29 sites, including Princeton University, the University of Michigan, The Newberry Library in Chicago, Carnegie Mellon University, University of California, Santa Cruz, Queens College, CUNY, and Colorado College.

The TAS program at the University of Notre Dame was initially funded by a startup grant from the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation, a generous grant from the Muessel-Ellison Memorial Trust Foundation and funds from the University of Notre Dame's College of Arts and Letters. Since 2001 TAS seminars have received support from the Helen Kellogg Institute for International Studies, the Nanovic Institute for European Studies, the Medieval Institute, the Snite Museum, the Devers Dante Studies Program, Meijer Inc. and South Bend Community School Corporation, the Catholic Schools Office, Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend; School City of Mishawaka, Union-North United School Corporation, John Glenn School Corporation and Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation.

Program directors at the University of Notre Dame are Dayle Seidenspinner-Nunez, Associate Dean, Director of TAS, and Dolores Frese, Professor of English. E. Jane Doering is Executive Coordinator of TAS.

We would like to extend a deep and sincere thanks to all of our sponsors for their continued support of Teachers As Scholars.
