This information is for Summer 2011. Information and meal plan rates will be available in mid-February for Summer 2012.

Individual Meals: Meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) may be purchased using cash, Domer Dollars or Flex Points seven days a week at Reckers on the south side of the South Dining Hall and at the Huddle Food Court in the LaFortune Student Center. Breakfast and lunch are available Monday through Friday at Greenfields Café in the Hesburgh Center for International Studies; Café de Grasta, located on the first floor of Grace Hall; and the Café Commons, on the lower level of the Mendoza College of Business. Meal Plans:
Prepaid meal plans are available for use in South Dining Hall. A meal plan week starts on Saturday before breakfast and ends Friday after dinner. Unused meals do not carry over to the following week and are nonrefundable.

To purchase a meal plan, visit the Card Services Office located on the lower level of the north side of South Dining Hall. Meal plans may be purchased by cash in the exact amount, check (payable to University of Notre Dame), or as a charge to the student’s student account.  Please click here for the application: Meal Plan & Flex Point Application - 2011 Summer Session.

The following meal plans may be purchased on a weekly basis (for any number of weeks) for meals beginning May 31 and ending August 4. Note: There will be no dinner meal on Friday, June 3, 2011. Any changes made to an existing meal plan are programmed to begin the next Saturday morning. Any canceled meal plans will be refunded for each full week of unused portions.

21 Meals per week (average of 3/day)
$160 per week. Full meal plan.


14 Meals per week (average of 2/day)
$137.25 per week. Includes any combination of meals.


10 Meals per week (average of 2/day)
$110 per week. Includes any combination of meals.


5 Meals per week (average of 1/day)
$57.75 per week. Includes any combination of meals.


Please purchase your meal plan in advance of your campus arrival.

NOTE: two full business days are required for processing your application, whether you are submitting a new application or a modification to a previously submitted application. Carefully plan your meal needs based on the information included here. To check the status of your meal plan application with board meal balances and/or Flex Points, click on "check your balances' under meal plans at food.nd.edu.

Individual Meals: As an alternative to a meal plan, individual meals may also be purchased in the South Dining Hall at the following rates (Notre Dame Student ID required at time of purchase):

Flex Points Blocks: With the aforementioned meal plan application, you may purchase Flex Points for your ID card for use during the entire summer session (with or without a meal plan) to buy food by debit at campus restaurants and eateries. One Flex Point is equivalent to one dollar. Many students supplement Meal Plans with Flex Points to experience a variety of food choices across campus. Once purchased, Flex Points are nonrefundable and unused Flex Points expire on August 5, 2011. Visit food.nd.edu for a complete listing of Food Services locations.
