Strategic Planning Objectives
The objective of the Strategic Plan for Business Operations is to ensure that the overall mission of the University is achieved. Business Operations provides both quantitative and qualitative support to all aspects of the University. It is through Business Operations that the body is maintained so that the mind and soul may flourish.
Notre Dame has evolved significantly since 1842. Throughout the growth and development of the University certain qualities and forces have helped shape Notre Dame into her present state. The following qualities and forces, some constant over time and some new to the present age, drive the objectives of the Business Operations Strategic Plan.
Notre Dame:
- Does not accept the status quo and approaches its Business Operations duties with the intent of being "best-in-class" in the delivery of services
- Is dynamic, it is ever changing and growing

Being mindful of the stated objectives in relation to the qualities and forces that create the University's unique character is vital to the development and implementation of a successful strategic plan.
