Office of Business Operations: Strategic Plan
Conclusion
The uniqueness of Notre Dame dates back to 1842 when Fr. Edward Sorin, C.S.C. and six (6) Holy Cross Brothers founded the University. The physical infrastructure, the breadth of academic programs and the workforce necessary to operate the University have changed considerably since then. What has not changed, however, is the unabashed drive for excellence amidst a sense of place. Our Lady's University still endeavors to nurture the mind, body, and spirit of those who seek to live, learn, and teach here. The fulfillment of this noble goal is the very reason that the Office of Business Operations exists. Hence the mission of Business Operations reasonably follows to ensure that the appropriate infrastructure and tools are available to perpetuate "the Notre Dame Experience".
