Jim is the associate director for Business Operations at the Center for Social Concerns. He received his BBA in accounting at the University of Notre Dame in 1974. He obtained his CPA certification and has practiced in California, Colorado and Indiana.
Jim worked for the largest CPA firm in the world at the time, Arthur Andersen & Co. and later with Colorado firm Schneider & Shuster. He has worked in management, audit, tax and consulting in both the for-profit and not-for-profit business worlds and served as president of the Board for Denver Catholic Community Services.
Jim joined the Center for Social Concerns at Notre Dame in 1995 after 10 years with the Eleanor Roosevelt Institute for Cancer Research in Denver, where he served as Financial Vice-President and President of their for-profit subsidiary, ERI, Inc.
