Connie Snyder Mick, Ph.D.

Connie Snyder Mick, Ph.D., is an assistant director of the Center for Social Concerns and Director for Social Concerns Seminars and Community-Based Learning. She offers administrative and pedagogical guidance for all Social Concerns Seminars. Partnering with faculty, students, staff, community representatives, and alumni/ae at the University, locally, and nationally, Dr. Mick facilitates creative learning and related research initiatives. Dr. Mick joins the Center for Social Concerns after teaching and administering in Notre Dame's Writing Program and Writing Center for eight years. Her research interests address the intersection of composition theory and pedagogy, new media, and community-based learning.
