
Nick Bowman is a Postdoctoral Research Associate for the Center for Social Concerns. He works with Center faculty and staff to design, administer, and analyze surveys to research and assess the impact of various seminars and programs. His research interests include the effects of diversity and community-based learning on college student development and the measurement of student outcomes.
He joined the Center after receiving a Ph.D. in Psychology and Education and two master’s degrees in Education from the University of Michigan.
His work has appeared or is scheduled to appear in numerous journals, including American Educational Research Journal, Review of Educational Research, American Journal of Education, The Journal of Higher Education, Research in Higher Education, Review of Higher Education, Journal of College Student Development, and Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin.
