Professor Morris conducts research in multiple areas of study related to acoustics, turbomachinery, and turbulence.

Current projects are funded by the Office of Naval Research, The Air Force Office of Scientific Research, General Electric Aviation, and DaimlerChrysler.

The laboratories are located within the Hessert Laboratory for Aerospace research, and operate as part of the Center for Flow Physics and Control at Notre Dame.
