NEW INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY: the SIBC is now offering a High Cloud internship in Peru, in addition to the locations of Brazil and Washington D.C.

Updates to the website have been made. We regret that both the Uganda and Poland internships have been cancelled for the Summer of 2009.
Additionally, a link to a "terms and conditions" document has been added to the internship application page. All interested applicants must present this with their application.

January 20, 2008 - All Council Meeting
The All Council Informational Meeting for the spring 2009 semester will be held at 7pm on January 20th. It will take place in the Jordan Auditorium of the Mendoza College of Business. Any interested students should come to hear about the opportunities SIBC has for the upcoming year.
December 2008 - Board of Directors Chosen
Matt Brownschnidle, a junior Finance major and former Executive Vice President, was elected the President for the 2009 year. Kadeja Gaines, a senior psychology and german major and former CFO, will serve as the Executive Vice President for the first half of the 2009 year. Maria Bufalino, a junior marketing major currently studying in Rome and the former Marketing Director, will take over for Kadeja as Executive Vice President in the fall. Raniero Lopez, a sophomore, was elected CFO, and Clare Brady, a junior marketing and graphic design major, will serve as COO.

December 2007 - Board of Directors Chosen
Evan Lintz, a senior electrical engineering major and former SPC chair was chosen as the president for the 2008 year. Other members of the executive board include Matthew Brownschidle, a sophomore Finance major as the Executive Vice President, Kadeja Gaines a junior Psychology and German major will serve as the CFO and Caitlin Fleming a sophomore Finance and Economics major as the COO. April 2007 -
The Council hosted Adel Quinn, co-founder of an academy for underpriviledged women in Nairobi, Kenya. She shared the stories of women who have been empowered by the academy's teachings of self-reliance and basic business skills.
March 2007 -
Council host the CEO of Starbucks, Howard Schulz. Mr. Schulz shared his inspirational story with the Mendoza College of Business and highlighted the importance of ethical business practices.
Former alumnus and SIBC Board member, Ryan Kerrigan, speaks to a roundtable gathering in the Morris Inn. Mr. Kerrigan highlighted the importance of Notre Dame in our future careers and shared his story of starting his own firm.
Board of Directors meets with Bethany Mclean, writer for Fortune magazine, to discuss the Council and its important work at Notre Dame
February 2007 -
Board of Directors meets with Tom Harvey, president of Catholic Charities International. He worked with the Board to develop a long term strategic plan for the Council.
