Driving directions:
For directions, go to
Mathematics Department information
.
The mathematics department moved to a new building in May 2001.
I would recommend parking in the visitor's parking area
off of Notre Dame avenue. Then walk north along Notre Dame avenue (away from
Angela) past a
traffic circle at the end of Notre Dame avenue and continue north veering
northeast. After you cross a large grassy area, the mathematics department
will be the first building on your right. It is two stories tall, and
is called Hurley from the South and Hayes-Healy from the north. There
is a sign and entry ramp on the north side. The talks will be in
Hayes-Healy 127. There is a library one floor down from Hayes-Healy 127.
My office is at
Hurley 277. The visitor's parking area costs $2.00, and you need singles for
the machine. There is a small, free visitor's parking area on the east
side of the campus near the visitor's center. On Saturday & Sunday,
you can park for free in either of the large parking areas on the
east or west side of campus. There are maps available at
Parking information
to help with parking.
Note that South Bend is on the same time as Chicago at the time of
the conference.
