Malling, Karen Lanser. August 7, 2001 Meeting Minutes Approved "IN PROCESS" FOR ELECTRONIC JOURNALS (Pat Laghry) Pat talked to Doug A. about the global change and said he thought it was a good idea. Pat also talked with Marc Truitt who said this could be done in the near future. Marc suggested Pat and Lisa send the global change request of the to Library System Department (LSD), and thought this would be something that could be done sometime in October of this year. LSD will post the request to ALEPH Discuss with a time limit of two weeks for comments. LSD will resolve the comments, Marc will test and SWG will post back to the listserve that it was examine. ENHANCEMENTS (Pam Nicholas) Pam made copies of the NAAUG Enhancement Groups for 2001-2002 membership list and the NAAUG Enhancement Requests for 2000 for those who were interested. Pam explained to the group that the enhancements submitted for 2000 by the Serials Enhancement Group were not included by the overall Enhancement Group since the module is expected to be rewritten in 2003. Pam described how difficult it is to gather enhancements without the 14.2 version of the system being implemented, but encouraged the group to submit to her any changes. Mary Lehman asked what version would the enhancements effect? Pam said she was not sure based on the fact that ExLibris was planning on rewritting the serials module and that last years enhancements did not get included. STANDING ORDER PROJECT (Jayne Schlutt) Jayne's project is to close all 1999 and older standing orders with no receipt or invoice. She will be sending notification to the selectors to resubmit to Serials Acquisitions for a new order in 2003 and to Acquisitions Dept. for any back orders.
