Cheapest Renewable Energy

Depending on an areas wind speeds (class 4/5), wind technology costs the same or is cheaper than new coal plants and is the fastest growing renewable resource.

  • The U.S. increased its wind turbine capacity by 35% in 2005.
  • The current wind generating capacity in the U.S. is 9,149 Mega Watts
