From nanostructures to biomaterials

Biomolecules like actin, microtubules, DNA, intermediate filaments etc.have sizes comparable to nanostructures like fullerides, fullerene polymers, carbon nanotubes, inorganic nanowires. In this talk I will illustrate how can we use the experimental methods elaborated for these latter systems to obtain relevant quantities for biomaterials.
