RefWorks is a new Web-based tool that takes the drudgery out of citing articles, books, and many other types of references. RefWorks is a tool to organize and format footnotes, endnotes, and bibliographies quickly and easily. Articled from PubMed, Engineering Village, General Science Abstracts, Google Scholar and the ND library catalog, to name just a few, can be exported into RefWorks and then included in Word documents as in-text citations. Other databases such as Web of Science can be imported into RefWorks using the instructions posted on the RefWorks "Import Help" page.

In this seminar you will learn the primary features of RefWorks. You will create a RefWorks account, search the ND catalog and import a citation, search an electronic source such as Web of Science and import the citation, and finally create a bibliography. In addition, Write-n-Cite will be demonstrated - this feature enables you to write papers with Microsoft Word and cite references, then after just a few clicks, Write-n-Cite will automatically format a bibliography.

All interested persons are cordially invited to attend.
