An extensive spectroscopic study of neutron-rich nuclei in the region above 48Ca has been carried out at ATLAS with Gammasphere using different reactions and techniques.  The level schemes for these nuclei have been extended to high spins.  The comparisons of the obtained level schemes to Shell-Model calculations provide tests of effective interactions for full-pf-shell calculations, and favor the recently proposed GXPF1A interaction, which accounts for the appearance of a neutron subshell closure at N=32 in this vicinity.  In addition, the influence of the g9/2 intruder orbital on the adopted model space and the collectivity has been highlighted too.

All interested persons are cordially invited to attend.
