It is so weird seeing these names again! It's really weird seeing who's married with children! Yikes! I know what some of these people did in college! Of course they also know what I did!
I graduated in 1990. I was the Torch in '90. A lot has changed since then! 1991-married Todd Tucker ('90 ND graduate). We moved to Seattle because he was a Navy officer attached to a Nuclear submarine ( SSBN Alabama). 1992-our first daughter Colleen Elizabeth was born. 1994-we left the Navy life in search of a more "normal" life. I'm still not sure if we've found it! We moved to Southern Indiana and opened a Microbrewery: Tucker Brewing Company, Inc. That has pretty much consumed our lives. We stay very busy as it is still growing by leaps and bounds. Father's Day 1997-our second daughter Shannon Emily was born. Now we're REALLY busy! And that is life in the Tucker household! I'd love to hear from some of the old saxes and some of the current saxes. What's new in the section? My mother told me that some of the band members were shown in the audience of "Live with Regis and Kathy Lee". I also understand you are going on some great band trips. Sounds like the band is finally getting some well-deserved rewards! I'd love to hear all about it.

Dear saxes,
My name is Susie (Reising) Tucker. I was in the sax section from 1986-90. I was also the Torch in 1990! What a blast! Is the section still as crazy as I remember it? We were a pretty hard core group of partiers. Have you found a place to buy Fighting Irish Whiskey? We always drank about two or three fifths during our pre-rally festivities, but by my junior year none of the local liquor stores carried it anymore.
I am from Mishawaka, but I now live in Borden Indiana. It's a very small town in Southern Indiana about 25 miles north of Louisville Kentucky. My husband and I own and run a microbrewery in a nearby town called Salem. It's of course called Tucker Brewing Company, Inc. We get up to Mishawaka pretty often, but I havn't been back to a game since 1991. I'm really aching to get up there for a game this year, but we'll see. My husband Todd graduated from Notre Dame in 1990. He lived in Cavanaugh, which we understand is now a girls dorm! I feel sorry for the first girls that lived in that dorm. They must have had to scour the hell out of it to make it livable!
Writing this e-mail to you makes me feel very old! Here I am fighting two kids to leave me alone long enough to write a college student an e-mail! How time flies!!! Enjoy the time you have in school while it lasts. Family life is great, but every once in a while we miss the opportunity to go bar hopping. Actually, we will have our chance to sample unlimited beers at the annual Big Red Beer Fest in Bloomington on April 2. If any of you are interested in going, our brewery will be there, and I'd love for you to introduce yourselves! Here's a chance for a ROADTRIP!
Well, I know you have a lot of studying to do so I'll sign off. I was so glad to find your website! If you get a chance, please respond.
Thanks, and good luck with school!
Susie Tucker
