Hey gang...great to see the dialouge between present and former section members. I'm presently residing in Columbus, OH, recently complete a 3 year residency program in Internal Medicine and am now in my 8th month of private practice. So far..so good. Hope all is well in South Bend and in all the
hamlets where saxes dwell.

After further browsing of the web page, I came across Penny Moon's fond, yet fuzzy, memories the ND Saxes, 1987-91 edition. A few reminders of those cherished sax remedies to cure one hell of a raging hang-over:
1. A greazzzzzzy pork sandwich....rolled in a dirty ashtray.
2. A bowl of hot mayoinaisse. (Ahh...memories of pregame section brunches in South Dining Hall)
...and last, but never least....
3. A pus-filled jelly donut.

Vivid alumni foul memory of the day: Matt Cenedella's soaked-thru uniform after a day of hard core marching...usually with salt crystals obscuring the interlocking ND. (sniff, sniff..)

I was just browsing the web when I came across the SAX web page. What a great idea...nice job!
FYI...I recently was at a sax wedding (Matt Cenedella '93) when talk of a impromtu sax reunion began to surface. This translates to a massive infiltration of obnoxious "alumni-sorts". This e-mail serves to give fair warning. We hope the section remains vigilant...for one never knows at which game this event will occur.
