Accounting Association, Notre Dame
The University of Notre Dame Accounting Association (NDAA) exists to provide junior and senior accountancy majors, and sophomore business majors who are considering accountancy as a major, an organization which provides support, employment contacts, social gatherings/events, and a unifying bond in the form of membership. This mission, or purpose, of the NDAA is focused entirely upon the undergraduate accountancy major and seeks to uphold the University’s mission along with the teachings of the Catholic Church.

Actuarial Science Club
The ASC shall introduce students to the field of actuarial science and provide an environment which facilitates the transition into an actuarial career; the ASC will achieve this purpose by:
A. Maintaining active relationships with actuarial employers,
B. Bringing guest speakers to campus,
C. Organizing study seminars and groups for students taking exams, and
D. Meeting with faculty to discuss current relevant issues concerning the field.

Africana Studies Club
The objective for the African Students Association (ASA) of Notre Dame, St. Mary's College and Holy Cross College shall be to provide a forum in which the African students of ND/St. Mary's College and HCC can meet and discuss ways to support democratization and overall societal development in Africa.

American Chemical Society, Notre Dame Chapter of Student Affiliates
The purpose of this chapter shall be to afford an opportunity for the students in the department of chemistry in the University of Notre Dame to become better acquainted, to secure the intellectual stimulus that arises from professional association, to secure experience in preparing and presenting technical material before chemical audiences, to instill a professional interest in chemistry, and to be of service to the University of Notre Dame and the American Chemical Society.

American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Notre Dame
* The UND chapter of AIAA exists to support the undergraduate engineering education with information and activities related to the aerospace field.
* To this end, the AIAA will sponsor lectures from industry and academia on pertinent subjects, organize trips to sites of interest in aerospace, and offer activities to promote "hands-on" learning.
* The purpose of this extracurricular aerospace club is to offer the kind of learning that is not available in the established curriculum, as well as to prepare the interested student for taking the next step in the aerospace industry of academia.

American Institute of Architecture Students - University of Notre Dame
The objectives and purpose of this chapter shall be:
* To foster an appreciation and understanding of the ideas and objectives of the Institute and to promote and forward the same within the territory of this chapter.
* To emphasize and promote professional, educational, and social aspects of student activities on campus.
* To foster fellowship, cooperation, and unity between members of this Chapter, members of the local AIA Chapter and other Student Chapters.
* To enlarge chapter members' understanding of the current and future scope of architectural practice.
* To provide a national voice for architecture students in matters involving the profession and education in architecture.
* To further the mission of the national office through grassroots leadership on the campus level per the Institute’s description.

American Institute of Chemical Engineers
The objectives of our organization in order of importance are as follows:
- To contribute to the development of Chemical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame through activities involving the Department of Chemical Engineering faculty and members of our chapter.
- To assist our parent organization, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, in maintaining communication between student chapters, local sections, and all chemical engineers for the purpose of creating and promoting a higher standard for the chemical engineering profession.
- To promote the pursuit of chemical engineering as an undergraduate degree.

American Institute of Graphic Arts
The purpose of AIGA/ND student group shall be consistent with the mission of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), whose purpose is "to further excellence in communication design as a broadly defined discipline, strategic tool for business and cultural force. AIGA is the place design professionals turn to first to exchange ideas and information, participate in critical analysis and research and advance education and ethical practice." In addition, our student chapter will stress student involvement, learning, and education in order to raise the level of design-driven thinking. AIGA/ND student group will work toward its goals by:
-Coordinating a regular series of roundtable discussions on current design issues.
-Coordinating guest speakers to visit the University to provide insight into the design world as well as providing critiques on student work.
-Coordinating trips to design firms, lectures, portfolio reviews, etc. in order to education students

American Society of Civil Engineers, Notre Dame Student Chapter
The mission of the chapter shall be "To familiarize students seeking a profession in civil engineering with the numerous aspects of the field." We shall do this by bringing in various speakers and professions to speak about their experiences. We will also try to take field trips to engineering sites such as a construction site, water treatment plan, or cement plant. The club shall provide numerous services to the students to help them through their studies at the University of Notre Dame. These include organizing a series of review sessions for the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam, ordering review books, and sponsoring study break snacks during finals. Finally, the student chapter of ASCE shall participate in service opportunities around campus such as running a lab for Ms. Wizard Day.

American Society of Mechanical Engineers/Society of Automotive Engineers
The purpose shall be the advancement and dissemination of the theory and practice of mechanical engineering, the presentation of proper perspective of engineering work and the opportunity to become acquainted with the personnel and activities of the Society as well as to promote professional consciousness and fellowship. It will also provide the opportunity to learn to apply what students have learned in the classroom. This includes but is not limited to participation in the SAE mini-baja design competition. ASME/SAE exists to allow students to understand what is involved in designing, building, and competing a race-style vehicle.

Anthropology Club, Notre Dame
The purpose of this organization is outlined in the following objectives: to stimulate discussion and interest in current issues in anthropology; to offer members opportunities to extend classroom learning to include activities related to anthropology; to promote fellowship among anthropology students and encourage student-faculty interaction; to open opportunities for non-anthropology students to investigate anthropology as a field of study.

Beta Alpha Psi
The purpose of this fraternity shall be to encourage and to recognize scholastic and professional excellence in the field of accounting. Further, the fraternity is dedicated to the advancement of the Notre Dame Accounting curriculum on a collegial and professional level.

Biology Club, Notre Dame
The purpose of this club shall be to encourage an interest in Biology and fellowship among the club's members. These goals will be accomplished by the following means:
* meetings and discussions among student members
* special biology related activities to encourage learning outside the classroom i.e. dissection night

Chi Epsilon Honor Society
The object of Chi Epsilon shall be:
(a) To contribute to the improvement of the civil engineering profession as an instrument for the betterment of society.
(b) To recognize the fundamental characteristics of the successful civil engineer and to aid in the development of these characteristics.
(c) To encourage wherever possible any movement which will advance the best interest of engineering education; to actively support, where necessary; and to institute procedures and practices for the improvement of civil engineering departments at the schools at which chapters of Chi Epsilon are established.

Computer Club, Notre Dame
The purpose of this club is to promote interest in activities relating to Computer Science and Engineering. The club shall create an environment in which students, faculty, and staff can meet to discuss changes in the computer industry, current research projects, lectures on diöerent computer applications, and tutorials on common software that is available on the Notre Dame network.

The purpose of the Diverse Business Student Association is to promote professional awareness and provide networking opportunities to a group of diverse students in the College of Business Administration and those students interested in pursuing a professional career

Economics Club
The purpose of this organization is outlined in the following objectives: to stimulate discussion and interest in current issues in economics; to offer members opportunities to extend classroom learning to include activities related to economics; to promote fellowship among economics students and encourage student-faculty interaction; to open opportunities for non-economics students to investigate economics as a field of study.

Entrepreneur Club
The purpose of the Notre Dame Entrepreneur Club shall be to foster the entrepreneurial spirit and ability of Notre Dame undergraduate students through coordinating programs which emphasize entrepreneurship. The mission of the club shall be attained through the following means:
1. Coordinating guest speakers throughout the year.
2. Devising new and creative ways to raise money while providing real experience in starting new ventures.
3. Providing resources for any students interested in starting a new venture, but lack the resources necessary.

Finance Club of Notre Dame du Lac
The primary purpose of this organization is to advance the interest and the knowledge of the members in matters pertaining to the field of finance and business economics. The Club shall seek to supplement the classroom education of the members and to broaden their awareness of the financial world’s theories, principles and practices.

Forum on Biomedical Ethics, Notre Dame
To purpose of this club is to create a campus-wide forum for student discussion in biomedical ethics that fosters education and awareness of the scientific, religious, cultural, legal and economic implications of current issues in biomedical ethics. This shall be accomplished by the following means:
o Student-led discussions and debates.
o Hosting relevant speakers.
o Encouraging member involvement in national and community biomedical ethics-related events and programs such as student-led discussions, hosting speakers and faculty/student colloquia.

Health Occupations Students of America
The purposes of this organization are:
1. To unite in a common bond without regard to race, creed, or national origin full time students enrolled at the University of Notre Dame, Saint Mary's College, or Holy Cross College who exhibit strong interest in a health career and the future of health occupations.
2. To develop leadership that is competent and self-reliant.
3. To improve scholarship and develop skills that will enable young men and women to participate effectively in health occupations.
4. To create more interest and understanding in the intelligent choice of health occupations.
5. To engage in individual and group projects of a constructive nature.
6. To develop and recognize outstanding leadership in service and scholarship.
7. To create school loyalty and help preserve the principles of democracy.

History Club
The purpose of the History Club shall be to foster interest in history through the coordination of educational and awareness projects. The History Club will work toward its goals by:
A. Coordinating a series of history-related events throughout the academic year, and
B. Developing and strengthening bonds between members of the Department of History and the students within the University.

Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers
The purpose of IEEE is to bring closer together those students at the University of Notre Dame who excel at computer and electrical engineering while showing leadership and exemplary character. The club will organize social events throughout the year, including the end of the year Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering student/faculty picnic.

The club was established to serve as an opportunity for all undergraduate students, interested in the field of investments to develop and/or increase their knowledge of this special area of finance through activities designed as rewarding educational experiences.

Joint Engineering Council, Notre Dame
The purpose of the JEC is
- To promote cooperation and coordination among the student chapters of professional societies, honor societies, and organizations within the College of Engineering.
- To organize and promote, for the benefit of all of the students in the College of Engineering, activities which are beyond the scope of the individual societies.

Lambda Alpha Honors Society in Anthropology
The purpose of this organization is to promote the study and appreciation of Anthropology as an academic discipline and a forum of applied learning for the benefit of all peoples.
This purpose will be accomplished by:
1. A gathering at least once a year to welcome new members and to recognize achievements and special honors from among club members or others in the community.
2. Periodic special events including lectures, discussions, and field trips.
3. Social activities to promote shared intercultural experiences among students and faculty.

Marketing Club, University of Notre Dame Undergraduate
The purpose of the University of Notre Dame Marketing Club is to provide a medium for the interaction of all those interested in Marketing. The Club strives to go one step beyond the classroom in terms of learning what Marketing really constitutes by organizing speakers, field trips, and social interaction between students and faculty. It is a resource for connecting the students throughout their education in and out of the classroom. The mission is to provide marketing students with an opportunity to expose themselves for a career in marketing. The Club is designed to bring marketing majors together in a social setting, to create an environment to foster long-term marketing relationships. Memorial Hospital Medical Explorers
MHME gives Notre Dame undergraduates an opportunity to shadow physicians and staff members at Memorial Hospitals. The members will gain experiential knowledge of all facets of medicine, elucidating their decision to enter the field professionally.

Mexican American Engineers and Scientists/Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers

The purpose of this student chapter is to:
1. Increase the number of minority engineering and science students at the University of Notre Dame.
2. Promote the advancement of minority engineers and scientists in employment and education.
3. Improve the retention of minority students enrolled in engineering and science.
4. Provide a forum for the exchange of information pertinent to minority engineering/science students enrolled at the University of Notre Dame.
5. Develop a working network with area schools to encourage minority students to enter the engineering and science fields.
6. Promote professional advancement for minority engineers and scientists by fostering cooperation among industry, government, and the academic and professional communities to improve educational and employment opportunities.

Minority Pre-Medical Society
The objective of this organization shall include to provide orientation and counseling for incoming students; to disseminate information on scholarships and professional development to all organization members; to create a course test file in order to help our members prepare more fully for all examinations; and to acquaint our members with opportunities available to them at Notre Dame and in medical schools.

Pi Tau Sigma
The objective of the Sigma Beta Chapter shall be to foster the high ideals of the engineering profession, to stimulate interest in coordinated departmental activities, to promote the mutual professional welfare of its members, and to develop in students of mechanical engineering the attributes necessary for effective leadership and the assumption of the responsibilities of a citizen in a democracy.

Pre-Dental Society
The purpose of the Pre-dental Club is to provide a chance for students potentially interested in dentistry to meet and obtain helpful information regarding dental school application, as well as to gain insight on the nature of life as a dental student or dentist. In order to achieve these goals, the club will partake in the following activities:
1) The club will meet regularly to allow members to get together with their fellow pre-dental students and exchange thoughts and ideas on the Dental School application process.
2) We will co-ordinate the visits of South Bend-area dentists and orthodontists who will volunteer their time to share their past experiences in applying, their thoughts on life as a dentist, and where they see the future of dentistry.
3) A dental hygiene drive will be conducted to collect and/or to receive donations for dental supplies for the needy in the area.
4) The club will be a resource for students seeking information on dental schools and the application process from the Science Preprofessional office. Meetings may also be a form for talks from Preprofessional advisors.
5) The club will conduct D.A.T. test study sessions to help students prepare for the exam.

Pre-Law Society
Recognizing the importance of adequate preparation and counsel for the undergraduate anticipating a post-graduate legal education, and sensing the need for a centralized body on campus to gather and disseminate relevant materials concerning the legal career to all interested persons, we, the undergraduates of Notre Dame, hereby establish the Prelaw Society of Notre Dame.

Pre-Professional Society/American Medical Student Association

The main purpose of the Pre-Professional Society is to provide resources undergraduate students who plan to attend medical school. Not only will this information tell students whether they are "on track" with their academic courses and GPA, but this club will also supply students with information about what they should be doing outside of the classroom to enhance their chances at admission to medical schools. A second purpose of this club is to expose students to all aspects of the medical profession of which they may not be aware.

Pre-Vet Club of the University of Notre Dame
The purpose of the organization is to provide resources for those students hoping to attend veterinary school or to study in other animal related fields. The club will give insight and advice on the different schools and career options and their application processes. The club will also provide lecture series, hands-on experience, and possible volunteer opportunities in the South Bend community.

To promote interest in the field of psychology; to bring members to a more in-depth awareness and understanding of the career options available to them with psychology as a basis; to provide community outreach through service related to psychology; to foster communication between psychology faculty and students.

Quizbowl Club of Notre Dame
The purpose of this Club will be to promote the growth of the quiz bowl both on campus and across the nation. The Club will work toward these goals by participating in intercollegiate tournaments, including, but not limited to, ACF, mACF, NAQT/NAQT style, TRASH, and CBI tournaments.

Real Estate Investment Club
To give its members a strong background in the real estate industry by inviting knowledgeable speakers to campus, including alumni of the University, engaging in challenging real estate oriented projects, encouraging networking internships at real estate related businesses, and helping members to acquire full time jobs in the commercial, industrial and residential real estate and real estate finance industries after graduation.

Science Business Club, ND
Through the organization of this club, our intent is to develop channels of communication through which its members may develop an increased knowledge of the fields associated with this particular major as well as the academic, social and career potentials offered by this major. The Notre Dame Science-Business Club will seek to supplement the principles and practices presented in the classroom with connections to graduates of this major as well as other professionals presently holding jobs in associated fields of study. The Notre Dame Science-Business Club aspires to develop an increased awareness of the importance of this major, locally and globally through each of its members.

Society of Physics Students
This chapter has seven roles within the physics community as well as the Notre Dame community:
1. To encourage undergraduate research as a teaching tool.
2. To promote scientific literacy and appreciation through physics outreach programs to grades K-12.
3. To maintain the only institutionalized structure the physics community has for communicating with the "friends of physics" that exists throughout all walks of life in society through SPS alumni and members of Sigma Pi Sigma.
4. To provide an effective signpost for educating the student on the many career options, in addition to traditional physics, that come with a degree in physics.
5. To be an effective student recruitment and retention tool for the physics department.
6. To be a gateway society to other professional societies in physics.
7. To provide training for leadership through activities enhancing professional
development, communication skills, leadership qualities, and professional networking in ways that cannot be realized in coursework alone.

Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
The Society of Women Engineers stimulates women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expands the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrates the value of diversity.
