Hall Storage Information
On April 30 2011, many of the undergraduate residence halls will be participating
in a program sponsored by the Hall President's Council and the Student
Activities Office, called Hall Storage. The load time of the hall storage trailer will begin at 8:30 am and must be concluded by 10:30 a.m.
Residence Hall Councils that sign-up for this program will have the opportunity to have their residents store some of their belonging on a semi-trailer truck. At the completion of Hall Storage, these trailers are moved to a remote location and are not accessible until August 22, 2011, the Monday before classes begin.
Each Residence Hall Council has the option of providing this service to their community and also, to determine the load-in arrangements and pricing structure. Typically Residence Halls will allow the following items to be stored on the trailers:
1 refrigerator
*1 loft
*1 carpet
*3-4 ND Storage Boxes
*1 couch
A list of the halls that are participating in this program will be posted after April 26 or as the reservation forms are received. If you are a resident from a hall that is not involved with hall storage, you may want to contact another hall to see if you can participate in their program. Questions regarding a specific Residence Hall should be directed to the Residence Hall Staff.
