Fall Events
It's not too early to start thinking about the school year. SAOnline is up and running throughout the summer (and is even getting an upgrade!), so make sure to start registering your events for the year, and reserving the much sought-after space on campus. Not sure that your advisor is around to approve your request? Give them a call, or talk to Mary Kate (631-7308) to make sure your request gets through the approval process.
Cirque du Lac
Cirque du lac, the Fall carnival currently in the planning stages sponsored by Lyons Hall, is looking for clubs to get involved in this great event on campus. This event, tentatively scheduled for South Quad September 12th, will feature entertainment, food and fun, all while raising money for Hannah and Friends. Your club could sponsor a booth that includes traditional carnival games like ring tosses, mind games, arts and crafts, t-shirts, raffles, face-paint, or promotional paraphernalia. Use your imagination and have fun with it! We are hoping to foster a healthy competition between organizations in order to see who can raise the most money for Hannah and Friends. If you are interested in participating, please email the coordinators. Even if you do not know exactly how you would like to participate, we would greatly appreciate receiving some sort of feedback from you, so that we can gauge the interest in the event and continue to make preparations over the summer.
Sincerely,
Duda Cardoso, Lindsay Ruhling, Maria Petnuch, Rikki London
Lyons Hall President, VP, and Carnival Coordinators
Summer Programming
Hanging around the 'Bend this summer? SAO is in business! Check out all of our great programming here. Attend one or all of the events, and enter to win a Nintendo DS!
SAOnline Tip
Make sure to NOT hit the back button after submitting a request. if you use the "back" button to return to another SAOnline screen after hitting "Submit Request," it reverses the submission that you have completed, and the request does not reach your advisor.
