Department of Political Science - The political science department at the University of Notre Dame has more than 40 faculty members, over 600 majors, and a strong and active graduate progra. The Notre Dame political science department is committed to excellence in both teaching and research, it provides undergraduates and graduate students an education in four broad areas:  American Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations and Political Theory.

The College of Arts & Letters at the University of Notre Dame is simultaneously an international center for Catholic thought, a teaching-focused liberal arts college, and a dynamic hub for research and scholarship.The College of Arts and Letters provides its students with an education that fuels their passion for learning while preparing them to make a difference in the world. Arts & Letters is the largest and oldest college at the University of Notre Dame. It encompasses 21 departments, more than 40 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, and a variety of interdisciplinary centers.
