“Defining
Tomorrow: Research for the Greater Good” at Notre Dame
The
Office of Research in collaboration with faculty and students have
put together a booklet entitled "Defining Tomorrow: Research for the
Greater Good". This booklet highlights some faculty, graduate students,
and undergraduate students that are improving the world around us
through sponsored research at Notre Dame. "...Notre Dame is more than
a quest for knowledge. It is a commitment to apply the information
uncovered in the pursuit of answers to improve the human condition,
and it manifests itself in many ways across the University." The pdf
version can be located at “Defining
Tomorrow: Research for the Greater Good”

Funding
Opportunities Delivered to Your Desktop without Searching?
The
Community of Science (COS) is a service that the University of Notre
Dame subscribes to so that researchers at Notre Dame from all disciplines
can find funding opportunities. The Community of Science has a database
that contains funding opportunities for both federal and private funding.
COS provides a
researcher with the option to save up to 20 unique searches. The researcher
can also set alerts so that COS will send a weekly e-mail message
with funding opportunities that match the criteria established by
the researcher. For more information on the Community of Science and
assistance with setting up your user profile contact Erin Ytterberg
at (574)631-7432 or via e-mail at ytterberg.1@nd.edu
