Dear Notre Dame Faculty and Staff:

In our February letter we promised to keep you informed about the progress of the Renovare project.

Today, we're happy to announce the University has selected SCT Corporation http://www.sct.com of Malvern, Pennsylvania as the University's enterprise resource planning (ERP) vendor to replace our administrative systems. Over the next four years, SCT's Banner solution will replace our core administrative systems, which include Finance, Student/Faculty, Human Resources, and Payroll. This agreement between Notre Dame and SCT represents a major partnership between the leading Catholic institution of higher learning in the nation with one of the top providers of ERP software in higher education. A powerful and exciting combination, indeed.

We appreciate all of the hard work by members of the Renovare steering committee, University faculty and staff, and the Renovare project leaders in finalizing a mutually agreeable contract between Notre Dame and SCT. This agreement addresses both the functional and financial considerations of the University.

The Renovare project team led by Craig Brummell will begin ramping up immediately, with the Finance Project beginning this week. Please lend your cooperation and support to Craig, CIO Gordon Wishon and all those involved as the project moves forward.

Rest assured, we will keep you informed of new developments in conjunction with this project. Much of that information will be posted on the Renovare website at http://renovare.nd.edu as it becomes available.
