Email message to Early Adopters of the new buyND system
rollout 6/11/04
Subject: New buyND Go-Live
Greetings from Procurement Services,
Based on your role as a requisitioner or approver, you
have been selected by your Business Manager/Budget Administrator
as an Early Adopter for the new buyND system rollout. This
message is to provide information about the Early Adopter
timeline and communications that will occur over the next
couple of weeks.
- We anticipate going live next week. You will receive
an e-mail when the system is ready to use.
- Please note the new platform is for fiscal
year 2005 orders or restricted accounts. Use the current
HigherMarkets platform for current fiscal year orders
through June 30th according to the schedule found at https://buy.nd.edu/buynd/
- The new buyND will be accessed through http://my.nd.edu.
If you have not already accessed the portal, please verify
you can login with your NetID over the next couple of
days.
- The Renovare contact for your area should be receiving
the revised Fund Map soon. This will summarize the conversion
from budget unit to Fund, Org, and Program. You can also
lookup FOAPALs through the "Account Lookup"
tool on myND.
- As an Early Adopter, there may be periods where the
system is unavailable. These outages will be communicated
through the Bulletin Board on the buyND companion site.
- Please communicate any problems you encounter to our
Help Desk (1-4289).
We are very excited about the new buyND platform and believe
you will enjoy the speed, flexibility, and increased functionality.
