Ronald Aronson. After Communism. RM 5(2):23-44 Examines the faith of those who have chosen to remain socialist in the face of ongoing disillusionment throughout the twentieth century, and most recently, in the wake of communism's collapse. It is argued that, at the very least, Marxist teleology must be abandoned. The future pluralistic fragmentation of socialist movements is projected; this tendency must, it is urged, be embraced as ideologically fruitful, not fought.
