1/27/2004 Notre Dame Chooses Preferred Printers

As a result of a joint effort between Procurement Services and a 13-member committee of print buyers across campus, we are pleased to announce the selection of Notre Dame's preferred print vendors. The committee met over the summer to develop a list of high quality offset print vendors. Based on printing samples and past expereicne with each of the vendors, the team chose a group of print vendors uniquely qualified to meet the University's printing needs. Consolidating all of the University's print buying to a selected group of printers will ensure preferred pricing and standard terms and conditions - both are very important in the effort to aggregate spending and lower costs.

Even though these vendors have been identified as "preferred", any purchase requisition for printing over $5000 must be accompanied by the Vendor Selection Form and requested bid documention that is available on this website under the Buying Help section.

Procurement Services and the Office of Public Affairs and Communication ask that anyone purchasing offset printing in one of the identified categories (see print vendor matrix below) use one of the preferred vendors. Printers not included on this list have been instructed not to solicit business from University departments; however, they can reprint a job that they may have done in the past.
