5/13/2010 Contract signed with Graybar Electric for GE lighting products

The University of Notre Dame and Graybar Electric have reached a three year preferred supplier agreement for the acquisition of GE brand electric lamps and ballasts as well as the recycling of those products. This agreement replaces the previous contract held with Sylvania and distributed by CED locally. The contract with Graybar is effective May 1, 2010 and will expire on April 30, 2013. Contracted pricing will held firm for the initial three year contract term. A hosted catalog will soon be implemented in buyND to facilitate the ordering process.

This contract also features:

• No freight charges
• Timely delivery (next day for stock items, 3-5 days for non-stock, and 5-20 days for large orders or special projects)
• Three delivery distribution points: Central Receiving, Joyce Center and Utilities
• Hassle-free return policy
• Hosted catalog will include all lamps manufactured by GE
