9/27/04 Notre Dame announces Grainger as preferred supplier

The University and Grainger Industrial Supply have reached an agreement that will provide significantly lower pricing on a multitude of maintenance, repair, and operational supply items. This agreement falls within an existing contract between Grainger and E&I Cooperative Service. The University plans to establish Grainger as a catalog supplier within buyND e-Procurement system soon. Discounts from 20 to 30 manufacturers within the Grainger catalog will increase from the present 10% off catalog price to upwards of 50% on some items. Pricing will also include freight.
