Celebrating Founder’s Day

At the University of Notre Dame in the mid-19th century, an annual celebration occurred on Oct. 13 to mark the feast of Edward the Confessor. This became known as Founder’s Day, since the saint and the University’s founder shared the same name. > Full Story
