CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

The Physical Education Cross Country Skiing Class will be taught on the campus at the ND 9 hole Golf Course. Come prepared to go skiing that day if there is snow. If you are taking lessons with your own skis, bring them to the first session. Remember to dress appropriately for cross country skiing. Do not dress as for downhill skiing, a Ski Parka etc, may be too warm. Dress more in layers, so that if you get too warm, you can take off a layer. Be sure to bring a pair of gloves and a cap. How to dress properly will be discussed in more detail in the first session. Be sure your schedule allows you to attend before you register for this class. All Skiing classes fulfill one of the three units required for the semester.

Note! This activity can be counted as any one of the three required units.

Registration:
Fee: $8.00 for rental of boots,poles, and skis
- There is no charge if you have your own skis.
To rgister, go to the Physical Education Office, Room 215 Rockne Memorial. If you will be renting equipment, please bring a check for the correct amount. Make checks payable to the PHYSICAL EDUCATION DEPT. You must pay for the class before you will be added to the roll sheet.

Dates for Classses:
Classes to be held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 3:15 pm for four sessions of two hours - Jan. 21, 23, 28, and 30.


The first session will meet in Room B020 - South West corner of the Rockne Memorial) at 3:00 p.m.
: (snow or no snow). Come prepared to go skiing that day if there is snow. If you are taking lessons with your own equipment, bring it with you.
