Mission Statement
Our Mission Statement has four Specific Componen
ts:

  1. Educate the whole being through the acquisition of knowledge pertaining to:
    a.. Concepts of wellness,
    b. Concepts of fitness, and
    c. Value of participation in lifetime exercise and sport.
  2. Promote all aspects of wellness contributing to the student's quality of life now
    and in the future.
  3. Assist the student in developing a commitment to physical fitness and lifetime
    recreational skills.
  4. Provide a disciplined environment that enables the student to mature in mind,
    body, and spirit.

In Accordance with the National Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE):
A physically educated person is one who:

  1. HAS learned the skills necessary to perform a variety of physical activities.
  2. DOES participate regularly in physical activity.
  3. IS physically fit.
  4. KNOWS the implications of and the benefits from involvement in physical
    activities.
  5. VALUES physical activity and its contributions to a healthy lifestyle.
