NO SNOW? This weather has been amazing. Hopefully it keeps up for a bit longer. *knocks on wood*
We hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving break! For those of you who went to World Of Dance, AWESOME. For those who didn't, GO NEXT YEAR! If you went to World of Dance, be sure to give Carrie Ko, your treasurer, the ticket stub or wristband to get a partial reimbursement.
Finals are upon us! The final practices will be mostly just relaxing, chilling, and having fun. We will still be teaching breaking, choreography, and freestyling for those who want to learn, but there will not be any sort of pressure of a performance or anything like that.
The last official practice is Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Keeping to the rules of the university, no events or practices are allowed to be scheduled during reading days and finals week. People will still be showing up during our time slots (officers and members), so if you want to groove off the stress of finals, come out, but nothing is official scheduled.
During the last practice, we will be holding our White Elephant exchange. Instead of a Secret Santa, we decided on White Elephant so people would not get left out, and it would not be as difficult to get a gift.
How it works:
Bring a gift (max $10) and have it wrapped/unidentifiable.
All the gifts will be put into a pile.
We will draw names/numbers on the order of who gets picked.
First person will pick a gift from the pile and open it.
The following people can opt to "steal" the gift from a previous person or choose to grab from the pile.
A gift can only be stolen up to three times. After three times, it is stuck with the last person.
To participate, you MUST HAVE A GIFT.
Also, PFUN Dinner tomorrow at 5:30pm. Keep an eye out for an email on location (either North or South Dining Hall).
Also, keeping with Project Fresh tradition, we will be doing a surprise freestyle in the South Dining Hall during finals week. Keep an eye out for an email about this too.
Good luck on your finals!

Let's just first talk about how Asian Allure was....
Freaking awesome! Thank you to everyone who participated. Everyone did an amazing job!
Fortunately/Unfortunately, we still have Black Images next Saturday, November 19. The practices leading up to the performance day will be mostly reviewing the 90s, Funk, and Moves Like Jagger and possibly incoporting new formations and transitions. Also, we will be adding two additional choreography by Hunter and Amanda. If you have not been reading your emails and filled out the Black Images sign-up sheet, visit here.
Check out the Officer section of the website! Learn more about your officers!
Once again, thank you for your hardwork. Stay warm! Happy first snow fall of the year!

ASIAN ALLURE WEEK
This week will be CRAZY! Rehearsals. Rehearsals. Rehearsals. Check the calendar under Events for all the times of rehearsals. Check the emails because we will be emailing at least once everyday. Bring homework to the long rehearsals! We are not going to be rehearsing 100% of the time. There are other acts, and also, we are the big finish to Asian Allure. No pressure.
Happy Halloween! Work hard!

WEBSITE REVAMPED?!
The website has been changed to a more nostalgic look and more friendly for everyone, not just minimalists. Parts of the website are still under construction, but the important parts (main, practice, events) are up and running. Also, if you didn't notice, there are two themes to choose from when you arrive at the Project Fresh website. =]
Asian Allure is next weekend, on Friday and Saturday, November 4th and 5th. Check the calendar (under Events) and your emails for practice times for this and next week. There will be more practices and rehearsals to prepare for the show. Please come to every practice. We will be working on cleaning up the pieces, formations, and transitions, so even if your "dance" isn't being worked on during practice, we will still be incorporating it and be running it with the rest of the pieces
